Meet Nynja

This is Nynja. She arrived with her sister Ajax when her former foster family has their situation change in Dec 2016. Now 11 months old she is the teenage of the household. She and Ajax were trapped as young kittens on Bowen Island, old enough to be away from Mama cat but not old enough to take care of themselves. Ajax and Nynja were adopted at one point. Unfortunately they did not like their new home and Ajax ran away. We are still on the look out for her and hope to find her soon. Nynja came back to me while we wait for her sister to come home.

Nynja loves her rituals. When I get home every day she runs to the couch as that is where we have treats and a few, or more moments of petting. I think my favorite moments with her are when she is bossy for treats. She like to head-butt, any part of the body she can reach. Constantly ramming her head into my leg, arm, etc. gently but insistently until I give in and let her take a treat from my fingers.
