It was a momentous day today. Drake was vaccinated with his first shots. I think the most traumatic moment for him was being kept in the kennel while we waited for the amazing Giselle to come and administer them.
He was brave after a moment with the new human in the house and didn`t flinch when inspected or poked with the needle. He even, sorta, posed for the camera. There are many bits needed when giving injections, but a pro like Giselle can be done in a flash. She also checks to see his general health and temperament.
As you can see, though he may sleep a bit harder than normal tonight, he`s not letting this right of kittenhood get him down.
