Adopted!

Wilson and Dewdney are adopted. They were picked up by a lovely couple that seem to understand and are capable of dealing with Wilson's issues with change. Meaning the insanity that will happen over the next little bit in their home until she learns to like and love them.

Getting Dewdney in the cage was easy. I just picked her up from her nap and put her in the kennel. Wilson knew there was something up. I had to chase her from hiding place to hiding place until she ended up in the bathroom. As she was well ensconced behind the toilet it took a bit but I finally was able to grab her and get her in her kennel.

No injuries, unlike last time.

Above is my cat catching kit. Cardboard taped to the wall to block the opening to the kitchen. Thick leather gloves to prevent or reduce injury if bitten. Towel to wrap cat in. Net, not to contain but to move to an easier grabbing distance.

Arghtoo and Areknot have been increasingly interesting in the door, and there has even been a bit of screen door climbing happening. As I type this they are sitting at the door meowing. We will see what happens when I leave the door open. Freedom!
