Nynja is not the fastest to respond to changes. She seems mostly normal but there's always a little something missing. That little bit of missing that occurred when Drake joined our family came back this evening.
She headbutted me. When she and Ajax decided that treat and petting time was to happen Ajax would pat my leg and Nynja would shove her head into some part of my body. I must admit I found it so funny that I would sometimes let it go on a while just to see how long she would continue to ram into my body. She always increased frequency, would move locations, and then finally start to just shove at me in one continuous movement. Today we are sitting on the couch having a bit of a post-work petting and she rams her head into my thigh. Just once but it was enough to let me know that she's back in form and ready for whatever comes next.
