Tan still shys away from petting. She jumps up on the bed looking for treats and if there is none I get a dirty look as she jumps off. I have also received the occasional sniff. Though she doesn't always flee when I enter the room she will move away if I get to close. All this said, my years as a foster have taught me to be artful when it comes to solutions. I call this move "Stealth Petting".
All the rats had an exciting ride down to Everett, WA last night. They will spend Thanksgiving in their new home before going up for adoption. All cages are empty and today I get to bleach out all the cages and completed a load of animal laundry in preparation for the next as yet unknown batch.
