I have a my new set of rats. A dad and his 9 children, only two of which are girls. They are super amazing friendly and the baby boys will plaster them selves against the cage on whatever side I am currently walking by. So adorable. I will be doing a photo shoot soon so be prepared for some serious cuteness. I will only have this many rats until they are done their quarantine and then we will split them into smaller groups, assuming that no one adopts them before that.
Their previous owner completed suicide a few weeks ago. The housemate thought the partner was caring for the rats and the partner thought the housemate was caring for them. So basically once the food and water ran out the poor little ratties had none until someone realized what was happening. Mama did not survive, but thankfully everyone else did. Because of this they are a little smaller than others in their age group, but they were obviously very well loved and are now growing fast.
