After 616 days and 450 days for Wilson and Dewdney respectively the girls are in their new home. Their new mum is a lovely lady who recently lost her last cat in a fire that consumed her entire house. I know that they are in a wonderful place, and will be loved unconditionally but after such a long time it is very strange not to have them here, peaking at me from around the corner when I come in, or giving the rats a scare.
The girls came a long way and I am proud of them in their journey.
As Wallee is not yet in the living room full time I am taking a moment to de-cat the living room and stake stock of all the items I need to take back to VOKRA. There is a bunch of open floor space and a growing pile of kennels etc that need to go back. I know soon that will all change.
