Good days and bad days are sometimes the same

With Josie up for adoption there are now people coming to the house to view her. As I've stated in earlier posts, every visit, even one that doesn't end up in adoption is good as it exposes them to more people.

However each cat seems to react differently to these visits. Sweeti Pi hides completely, and if you can find her hiding place you can pet her, even if she doesn't like it. However as the recent influx of humanity isn't interested in her she has decided to comfort herself after the invasion by sitting on my lap. I never thought she would actually do that.

Josie hides during the visit, and after the first dismal failure of me remembering to completely closing the door and her escaping into the living area, she finds a corner and will tolerate petting. But of course soon after they leave she's out being her adorable self.

Kevin, poor Kevin. She is in the photo below. You can see Josie's ear on the right.

Still, having other humans is a good thing. One day she will believe me.
