Necessity

The first place every cat goes to hide when they first enter the bedroom is under the chair. This makes them for all practical purposes inaccessible until they want to come out. Most of the time this is not an issue however when a cat needs meds inaccessibility is not an option. Then I have to slowly tip the chair over to make sure that they don't get squished or caught by machinery. This time when I tipped the chair, due to circumstantial scratching post placement I found an amazing solution to this problem.

I don't know why I never thought of this before but with a strategic placement of a towel the cats get a lovely place to hide that I have access to and then there is a covered place for them to play when they are brave enough to leave their hidey hole.

Dooley, the model in this last photo is my newest houseguest. She is 7 months old and had a bit of an eye issue. We are hoping that she and Saffi will get along and become friends. So far they haven't had an out and out fight.
